The patch would be correct, but the description is empty and a backup file of the download plugin is still present. FYI, this patch would be an extension of the download plugin for git:// urls, so it can use "git checkout" (branches/tag/commits) and submodules in the repositories. A more deep description of the functionality and use-case would be in the submitted patch. The default answer of "lvu submit" is "y" (so the timeout can auto-submit patches). I think this should be changed to "n", just to prevent others to make the same mistake. -- mit freundlichem Gruss Christian Riggenbach -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... When epm - the install tool for openoffice-src will find dpkg tool (which is installed by dpkg module) instead of making file tree for Lunar installer it will auto pack everything to deb packages and tar.gz files. Lunar installer will not find file tree to install and will fail. If you lrm dpkg before lining openoffice-src all will go fine, without error. You can lin dpkg after openoffice-src installation to keep using dpkg. If I find plenty of time for building OO again I will patch epm installer so it will not find dpkg anymore to fix build problem. If you would like fix it - feel free to do it. The install fail begins at line 103 of module's BUILD script file: cd instsetoo_native/unxlngi6.pro/OpenOffice/native/install/en-US/linux-2.6-intel/buildroot/opt && because when deb files are built the directory structure is different and above directory path can not be entered into. have a nice day, Zbigniew Luszpinski From criggenbach at magahugu.net Sat Oct 10 15:55:07 2009 From: criggenbach at magahugu.net (Christian Riggenbach) Date: Sat, 10 Oct 2009 15:55:07 +0200 Subject: ***SPAM*** Re: Submit of "git" In-Reply-To: <4AC7E29D.2000107@foo-projects.org> References: <200910031430.58849.criggenbach@magahugu.net> <4AC7E29D.2000107@foo-projects.org> Message-ID: <200910101555.11061.criggenbach@magahugu.net> On Sunday 04 October 2009 01.47:41 Auke Kok wrote: > Christian Riggenbach wrote: > > Hi > > > > I have accidently submitted a patch for "git". This patch enables the modules to use every 'checkoutable' branch/tag/commit for their sources. Also the modules can use submodules. Submodules are external git repositories embedded (but independely managed) in their source-tree. [1] To use it, just append a colon (":") and the ref, like this (from the DETAILS of the soon to be commited module "cgit", using a tag): ==== MODULE=cgit VERSION=v0.8.3 SOURCE=$MODULE.tar.bz2 SOURCE_URL=git://hjemli.net/pub/git/cgit:$VERSION SOURCE_DIRECTORY=$BUILD_DIRECTORY/$MODULE ==== When the "-git" modules would be altered as this one, a simple call of "lin -w BRANCH/TAG/COMMIT MODULE" would be sufficient to install the desired flavour. Additionally, I corrected a few typos. -- mit freundlichem Gruss Christian Riggenbach [1] http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/git-submodule.html -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I started a lin of kde4 before I went to bed last night, and his morning, it was stopped because xine-lib couldn't find the dependency on vorbis (no such module). I did a "lin -r xine-lib" to remove the dependency. after several of the dependencies installed, but before xine-lib installed, the lin got interrupted again from the download manager not being able to download one of the source tarballs (I don't temember shich one), so I set exhastive mirrors and then did a "lin kde4". After over an hour of lunar looping through "checking dependencies" repeatedly on the same group of modules, I killed the lin and tried just doing a "lin xine-lib". Same thing, just a slightly shorter list, it just kkeps "checking dependencies". Any suggestions on how to get past this and finish the kde4 install will be greatly appreciated. --Richard From maintainer at lunar-linux.org Fri Oct 30 12:35:43 2009 From: maintainer at lunar-linux.org (maintainer at lunar-linux.org) Date: Fri, 30 Oct 2009 12:35:43 +0100 (CET) Subject: weekly news - 20091030 Message-ID: <20091030113543.8C4DB9B2E4@doppio.foo-projects.org> Hi!
