This has been solved after building a custom kernel and installing its appropriate headers. I do not really know if this broken step may corrupt further steps regarding installation. I can't tell if it's because i've maybe messed up the installation or it's just not working on x86_64. Then, after retrying it with my new headers and funky modpost the runtime sanity check fails. Even when keeping the libGL*.so from the previous installation it whines. After this complaints of the installer I'm able to launch X with nvidia module, but i can't do anything related GLX/OpenGL. Replacing the whole thing with mesa-lib/mesa-glu does not work, too, since mesa does not seem to overwrite the whole thing and complains later about existing libGL*.so files with different types. uname -api Linux site1 2.6.20site1c http://bugs.lunar-linux.org/view.php?id=1 PREEMPT Sun Aug 5 11:17:43 CEST 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux Thank you for feedback. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0000580) dioli (reporter) - 2007-08-06 13:56 http://bugs.lunar-linux.org/view.php?id=268#c580 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry... it's a module. There is a bug in the lnet script which means it does not always update the file correctly. Your file should look like the example file that I've just attached, except you need to add the 8139too. If you are using dhcp, it should set the gateway and dns entries, so you might need to remove the /etc/config.d/gateway file to avoid confusion. If 'ifconfig' shows that eth0 has not been configured on reboot, but it is configured correctly running dhcpcd by hand, it could be that there is a timing problem during network initialization. That's also why I need dhcpcd -K on one of my machines. You may need to experiment further. This has been solved after building a custom kernel and installing its appropriate headers. I do not really know if this broken step may corrupt further steps regarding installation. It gets to libxcb via.. libxslt -> libxml2 -> [Python] -> [tk] - > %X (Xorg7) -> ... -> libxcb -> libxslt. I suggest we see if we can make a libxml2-python and/or a Pythong-tk module to break that depends issue. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0000353) v3rt1g0 (developer) - 2007-02-16 17:54 http://bugs.lunar-linux.org/view.php?id=171#c353 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I added a TEMPORARY workaround for this to the moonbase. I commented out the optional depends on tk for Python, as that seemed to be the lesser "required" optional depends of the two choices. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0000953) ratler (developer) - 2010-07-20 09:52 http://bugs.lunar-linux.org/view.php?id=171#c953 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Going to close this issue for now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0000954) ratler (developer) - 2010-07-20 09:53 http://bugs.lunar-linux.org/view.php?id=171#c954 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Partly fixed.
